URBAN ORE is excited to announce our collaborative effort in joining The Oakland Cannery Collective, the Oakland small business community, and a variety of local artists to produce the first annual FESTAC Cultural Arts Festival on Saturday, September 1st (noon – 10pm) at Washington and 9th Streets in Old Oakland. FESTAC is a free, all ages welcome celebration of Oakland’s pride, diversity, and culture through the expression of music, art, and ideas. Urban Ore will be providing furniture and props for a variety of “studies on the streets” that include outdoor living spaces for sale to the public! Join us in working together as a unified local artistic community to mobilize the youth and promote policies that will engage and enhance Oakland’s rich artistic community and protect the environment.
